- F1 Setup 1.0.3
- --------------
-
- F1 Setup 1.0.3 is not very different from v.1.0 from the user side, but menus
- and windows have a different, and I hope better, organization. As before, the
- Balloon Help is available in every window.
-
- You can now choose the emulation from the main menu bar, and you should check
- the 'Emulation' menu before setting the other data. The 'Setup' menu now groups
- all the setup windows.
-
- What's New:
- -----------
- AKA
- The 'System Addresses' window contains an 'AKA' button that opens a new window
- that allow you to add more 'secondary' addresses. This new function is useful
- for points connected to more than one Boss or BBS's connected to more than one
- network (with different domain and/or zone). Formula 1 will choose
- automatically the correct address to use.
-
- PRIVATE NODELIST
- This option of the 'Nodelist' menu allows you to have custom Formula 1 setups
- for the nodes you usually call. In the main windows you can add/edit/delete an
- address from the list and set a password for each node. For Sysops: the nodes
- listed here are considered 'known' (or 'protected' if you set a password) from
- the File Requests manager. The 'More Info...' button opens a more interesting
- window where you can set more options. You don't need to fill all the fields,
- Formula 1 will get all the missing data from Tabby (or Copernicus,
- CounterPoint, etc.) The Name and Sysop Name of the node are just descriptive
- fields. The phone number can contain the exact number Formula 1 must call. The
- modem init string will replace the default init string you can type in the
- 'Communication Port' window. The NoWazoo and no Overdrive checkbox disables the
- two protocols and are usually left unchecked.
